This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. The Rumi pattern is an oversized knit raglan sweatshirt that’s comfy, cool, and full of options. Choose between an oversized crossover hood or a cozy cowl neckline, both of which can be lined or hemmed and finished with an optional drawstring. Pick from three sleeve options: a tank, a standard long sleeve with cuff, or a balloon sleeve with an elastic hem. Both long sleeve options are designed extra long for that perfectly slouchy feel. Includes 2 lengths- a crop or sweatshirt. Choose from 3 back options — solid, color block, or lace-up (crop only). Add center or side ties for a drawstring hem on the solid or color block versions in both lengths. The sweatshirt length also includes an optional kangaroo pocket for that classic hoodie look. Skill level: •Confident beginner Suggested Fabrics: •Rumi Body is drafted for heavy to medium weight knits with good recovery and some structure and at least 20% horizontal stretch. Examples- Sweatshirt Fleece, Polar Tech Fleeces, Thick French Terry, Fleece, etc. Something with a softer drape and more stretch will feel looser/longer than the intended fit compared to a thicker sweatshirt fleece with minimal stretch. Rumi Color Block Back Piece- Get creative! This will work with a variety of fabrics from sheer mesh, lace, or any other unique fabric you can think of for a fun look. You can also stick to a different color of your main fabric. Notions: •Grommets – for lace-up and drawstring options. 7mm is recommend but other sizes will work as well you may just need to adjust the hems. Alternatively you can use button holes.
