This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. The Youth Morgan is a fitted knit peasant-style pattern full of options. The front bodice features a lined soft, sweetheart neckline. Choose from two front bodice options, a ruched front with ties or a plain front. Both the front and back bodices have a band. The crop and top length have a longer hemmed band. Includes a simple gathered skirt in dress, midi, or maxi length. It also includes a 3 tiered skirt option in dress, midi, or maxi length. Perfect for year-round wear with a short flutter, long flutter, elastic hem short, 3/4, or long sleeve. Morgan is perfect for dressing up for family photos, weddings, or dressing down for everyday wear! Youth Morgan Features: •Made for knit fabrics. •Fitted sweetheart neckline. •2 front bodice options: plain or ruched with ties. •The front and back bodices have a fitted waistband. •Peasant-style sleeves with elastic at the shoulders. •5 sleeve options: short flutter, long flutter, elastic hemmed: short, 3/4, and long sleeves. •8 hemline options. •Hemmed crop or top length. •Simple gathered skirt in dress, midi, or maxi length. •3 tiered skirt options in a dress, midi, or maxi length. •Includes TWO full video sew-through. (See sewing the plain bodice with tiered skirt HERE and sewing the ruched bodice with simple skirt HERE).   Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements): •Fits sizes 1/2 (about 9-12 months) to 14. •Chest sizes 19″-32″ or 46.2-81.2 cm •Waist sizes 19.5″-28″ or 49.5-71.1 cm •Hip sizes 19.5″-34″ of 49.5-86.3 cm Skill level: •Confident beginner- stitching the ruched bodice casing and gathering the tiered options will be the most difficult step for a fresh beginner. Suggested Fabrics: •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit. •Choose a medium-weight knit with at least 40% stretch horizontally and some vertical stretch. •Fabrics like double brushed poly, rib knits with lots of recovery, cotton spandex, high-quality modal, or bamboo lycra. •Fabrics with less vertical stretch can be used but may end up shorter in length. •Fabric with a softer drape and more vertical stretch, like rayon lycra, will ‘grow’ with wear and feel looser/longer than the intended fit. •If you’re struggling with what fabric to use, check out our new fabric section that has been curated specifically for this pattern!
