Made for Mermaids Sewing Patterns are digital downloads. You will print OR project them at home, OR send them to a copy shop to print. This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. The Audrey pattern is a classic fitted knit silhouette. The back piece has a center seam for a beautiful fit. Choose from 4 hemline options; crop, top, dress, or midi length. Add an optional side slit to the dress or midi length. There are 5 neckline options too: a turtleneck, mock turtleneck, crew, scoop, or v-neck. The crew, scoop, and v-neck lines are finished with a knit neckband. Choose from a slim-fit sleeve or a bishop sleeve. The slim-fit sleeve includes a cap and short and long sleeves. The bishop sleeve includes a long sleeve with a short or long cuff. The perfect classic piece for layering, wearing casually every day, or dressing up for family photos or special events. Suggested Fabrics: •Drafted for medium-weight knits with at least 40% horizontal stretch, like brushed or ribbed sweater knits, ribbed knits, DBP, etc. •You want something with good recovery for the neckband and sleeve cuff. •Thicker fabrics with less stretch, like a Liverpool, Ponte, french terry, etc., will feel tighter and may not be as comfortable or work well for the neckband, turtleneck, or cuffs. •Something with a softer drape and more vertical stretch, like a very light sweater knit, rayon spandex and some waffle knits tend to ‘grow’ with wear and feel looser/longer than the intended fit.
