Choose from a lined or galloon lace bodice. The bodice includes SBA and FBA pieces. The bottoms hit at the waist and are finished with elastic. Choose from a thong or cheeky bottom. The leg line is finished with picot elastic, plus an optional hook and eye closure for easy removal. The long straps can be tied in multiple different ways. Skill level: •Confident beginner Suggested Fabrics: •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit. •Drafted for light to medium weight knits with at least 50% horizontal stretch, 40% vertical stretch, and good recovery. Stretch mesh, stretch lace, double brushed polyester, most ribbed knit, cotton lycra, etc. Fabric content will affect the drape and fit. Lighter weight knits without recovery, such as rayon spandex, modal, bamboo, etc., tend to ‘grow with wear’ and are not recommended. Fabrics with less vertical stretch (such as stretch velvet) or fabrics with strong recovery (such as athletic knit) will fit tighter and may need added length. •Lace Option: Drafted for stretch galloon lace (width for each size given in fabric requirement chart). I like to use a power mesh or swimsuit lining for the lace bodice lining. Notions: •3/8″ picot elastic for leg line. •3/8″ clear or knit elastic for the waist. •Optional: continuous hook and eye tape. •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, marking tool.
