The top back has a center seam with a solid or pieced galloon lace back option. The solid back is finished with lace or picot. Choose from fixed straps or adjustable straps. The shorts include a mid-rise or high-rise option and have a knit waistband. Choose from a simple or galloon lace panel short. All short hemlines are finished with picot or lace. Perfect for special nights or to wear every day. Skill level: •Confident beginner Suggested Fabrics: •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit. •Drafted for light to medium weight knits with at least 50% horizontal stretch, 30% vertical stretch, and good recovery. •ITY, double brushed polyester, modal, bamboo lycra, high-quality ribbed knit, etc. •Lighter weight knits without recovery, such as rayon spandex, tend to ‘grow with wear’ and are not recommended. •Fabrics with less vertical stretch or fabrics with strong recovery (such as athletic knit, french terry, stretch velvet, and cotton lyrca) may be used but will fit tighter than intended. You may wish to size up or take a smaller seam allowance if using these fabrics. •All options must be finished with 1″ stretch lace trim, the edge of the galloon stretch lace, or picot elastic lace trim. •Galloon Stretch Lace – for the lace panel on the bottom and the galloon lace back option on the top, you will need stretch galloon lace (5″ or larger for grey-yellow, 6″ or larger for orange-navy). See galloon lace for details. Notions: •All options must be finished with 1″ stretch lace trim, the edge of the galloon stretch lace, or picot elastic lace trim. •Adjustable strap option will need 1/2″ rings and sliders. •Optional: 1/4″ or 3/8″ clear elastic or lingerie stretch lace to stabilize certain seams. •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, marking tool.
