The back includes curved piecing and seaming. Choose from 3 high rise waistband options: a contoured waistband, crossover waistband, and a contoured fold over waistband. It also includes 4 hemlines: shorties, playground shorts, bike shorts, and flares. The flares are the perfect width, not too wide or too narrow. Plus 2 optional pocket options, a patch pocket or slat pocket. Finley is perfect for gymnastics or dance class, for under dresses, lounging at home, and every day wear. Suggested Fabrics: •Drafted for medium weight knits (200gsm ) with 4-way stretch, great recovery, and a minimum 50% horizontal stretch, and 50% vertical stretch. •Look for high spandex content, 5% minimum, but I prefer 12%-25%. •Note- the higher spandex content and heavier weight knits (250gsm ) will feel tighter and give more compression. •Fabric Examples for athletic wear: ribbed athletic knits, athletic brushed poly, nylon spandex, poly spandex, supplex, yoga knit, nylon spandex tricot, poly spandex tricot, ribbed tricot, athletic foiled knit, etc. •Fabric Examples for more causal wear: cotton lycra, double brushed poly, thicker ribbed knit, etc. Notions: •Optional- 1/2″ knit hem tape for hemming. •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, and, hem gauge.
