This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. Serena is an adorable high-rise knit athletic skort. The skirt pieces are open on the sides with a petal hem that flashes a little peek of the shorties as you move about. You can tack down the sides for more coverage if desired. Both skirt front and back pieces are curved, and the back is longer than the front for coverage as you move. The shorties are attached and have an optional side patch pocket. Choose from 3 skirt hemline lengths: mini, mid, or full length. It also includes 3 waistband options: a short or tall yoga waistband, and a contour waistband. These are perfect for gymnastics or dance class, tennis, as swim bottoms or everyday wear as an adorable skort. Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements): •Fits sizes 1/2 (about 9-12 months) to 14. •Waist sizes 19.5″-28″ or 49.5-71.1 cm •Hip sizes 19.5″-34″ or 49.5-86.3 cm Skill level: •Confident beginner- the hemming of the skirt will be the most difficult for a new beginner. Suggested Fabrics: •Drafted for medium weight knits with a minimum 50% horizontal stretch. •Examples for athletic wear: ribbed athletic knits, athletic brushed poly, nylon spandex, poly spandex, supplex, yoga knit, nylon spandex tricot, poly spandex tricot, ribbed tricot, athletic foiled knit, etc. •Examples for more casual wear: cotton lycra, double brushed poly, ribbed knit, etc. Notions: •Optional enclosed elastic band for yoga band: short band 1/2″ knit elastic and tall band 1.5″ knit elastic. •Optional- 1/2″ knit hem tape for hemming. •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, and, hem gauge.
