This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. Aurora is a knit playsuit full of options. It’s fitted in the chest, semi fitted in the waist and hips, and loose in the leg. Choose from a strapless or cami style top. The strapless option has an elastic enclosed neckline for a secure fit. The cami style has straps with optional elastic for added support. Both are finished with a shelf bra with exposed or enclosed elastic. Choose from 6 inseam options: shorts (3” or 4.5”), cropped (23”), or pants (28”, 29.5”, or 32”). Plus optional inseam pockets. Aurora is such a quick sew, your closet will soon be full of playsuits. It’s perfect to wear it alone, layered over your favorite tee, or with a jacket or cardigan over top! Skill level: •Beginner- The straps and neckline will be the most difficult for a new beginner. Suggested Fabrics: •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit. •Choose a medium-weight knit with at least 40% stretch horizontally and 30% vertical stretch. Fabrics like double brushed poly, rib knits with lots of recovery, cotton spandex, high quality modal or bamboo lycra. Fabrics with less recovery, such as rayon spandex and ITY, may “grow” with wear and fit longer than intended. Fabrics with less vertical stretch may fit tighter through the trunk. Notions: •For Shelf bra: 1″ knit elastic or exposed or enclosed elastic band. •Optional- clear elastic for neckline and straps for added support. •Optional- 1/2″ interfacing or knit hem tape for hemming. •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge, safety pin or bodkin, and marking tool.
