This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. Presley is a classic knit knife pleated skort. The front and back skirt pieces are both pleated. Leave the pleats open at the waistband, or stitch them down for a timeless look. Add the optional attached shorties to make a skort, or leave them off and wear it as a skirt. The shorties have an optional side patch pocket. Choose from 3 skirt hemline lengths: micro-mini, mini, or knee length. It also includes 3 waistband options: a short or tall yoga waistband with optional enclosed elastic or a contour waistband. It also includes optional inseam pockets. Presley is so versatile and can be worn for an everyday casual look, dressed up for work wear, or as an athletic skort for the gym, tennis, or pickleball. Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements): •Fits natural waist sizes: 23″-57″ or 58.4-134.6 cm. •Fits preferred waist sizes: 29″-59″ or 73.6-149.8 cm. •Fits full hip sizes: 34″-64″ or 86.3 – 162.5 cm. •Fits upper-thigh sizes: 20.5″-37.5″ or 52.1-95.3 cm. Skill level: •Confident beginner- The pleats (don’t worry, there is a video) and pocket options will be the most difficult for a true beginner. Suggested Fabrics: •Drafted for a variety of spandex knits. Look for 30% or more stretch horizontally and some vertical stretch with at least 4% spandex. •A medium-weight, more stable knit will give the pleats a more structured look. • Lighter-weight knits with drape will give the pleats a softer look. •You want something with good recovery and higher, 50% stretch for the attached shorties. •Examples for more structured pleats: liverpool, bullet, ponte de roma, or scuba. •Examples for athletic wear: ribbed athletic knits, athletic brushed poly, supplex, or yoga. •Examples for shorties: cotton lycra, athletic knit, or double-brushed poly.
