This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. The Paris Pattern is a woven palazzo pant designed with comfort and versatility in mind. Drafted for lightweight apparel wovens, Paris features a traditional wide-leg palazzo fit with ease through the hips and legs. The 2” wide enclosed elastic waistband sits ultra high-rise—comfortably covering the belly button for a flattering silhouette—and includes an optional drawstring for added style. Choose from a simple pant with shorts, cropped, or three full-length inseams (28″, 30″, or 32″), or go bold with the on-trend gathered side panel version. This option features a three-tiered side panel and a wider silhouette than the simple pant, adding extra drama and movement. Add optional inseam pockets to any view. Whether you’re dressing them up, packing them for vacation, or tossing them on with your favorite cropped tee and sneakers, Paris is ready for it all. Skill level: Confident beginner – sewing the gathered side panel pant option and the waistband will be the most difficult for a true beginner. Suggested Fabrics: •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit. •Paris is drafted for lighter weight, woven fabrics that will have flowy drape. Fabrics with less drape and not intended for apparel, like quilting cotton, will fix boxy and not suggested to use. •Georgette, cotton blends, voile, lawn, batiste, chambray, linen, rayon challis, gauze, etc. Notions: •2″ elastic (Note- I prefer knit elastic because it’s softer. You may use woven elastic if that’s what you have on hand, but the elastic length may need adjusting). •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge, safety pin or bodkin, and marking tool.
