This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. Beau is a fitted knit pattern with endless styling possibilities. Choose from three collar options—traditional, peter pan, or a bold dagger collar—and four knit placket lengths: 6″, 8″, 10″, or 12″. The collar and placket are cleanly finished, and the placket can be customized with buttons, snaps, or left open. Includes five hemline lengths—crop, top, mini, dress, or midi—and three sleeve options: short hemmed, long hemmed, or long with cuff. Fitted throughout the body, Beau is perfect for year-round wear and easily dressed up or down. Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements): •Fits full bust sizes 30″-60″ or 76.2-153.4 cm •Fits natural waist sizes: 23″-57″ or 58.4-134.6 cm. •Fits hips sizes: 34″-64″ or 86.3-162.6 cm. Skill level: • Intermediate – Sewing the placket and enclosing the collar may be challenging for a beginner. Suggested Fabrics: •Beau is drafted for medium-weight knits with at least 40% stretch horizontally. •Ribbed knits, cotton lycra, DBP, jersey knits, sweater knits with good recovery, etc. •Something with a softer drape and more vertical stretch, like a very light sweater knit, rayon spandex and some waffle knits tend to ‘grow’ with wear and feel looser/longer than the intended fit. •You want something with good recovery for the sleeve cuff.
