Description New Metco Motorsports interchangeable lower crank pulley kit with 6lb ring and 3.500” underdrive alternator pulley for 2003-2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra This comprehensive kit allows the user to replace the heavy factory crankshaft pulley and cage assembly with a lightweight, precision-machined aluminum hub and interchangeable outer ring.  The kit includes all of the necessary hardware, including a billet bracket to cleanly and securely relocate the factory crank idler pulley.  Once this kit is installed, the user can adjust the vehicle’s boost level by simply changing the outer pulley ring to any of the available Metco pulley rings, a process that takes just minutes.  In addition to the increased power available with this kit, installation of our crank pulley eliminates the failure-prone bushings and center bearing associated with the original crank pulley assembly.  Our kit also makes replacing the Cobra’s accessory drive belt a very simple process. This kit is custom-engineered to be a complete bolt-on, with no cutting, drilling, or irreversible changes required.  In most cases, total time required for installation is about two hours.  Please note that PCM calibration may be necessary with any change in the boost level. Please note that Metco offers underdrive alternator pulleys that are recommended for use with 2 lb, 4 lb, 6 lb, and 8 lb, (and larger) crank pulley rings.  These alternator pulleys are also listed in the Mustang Cobra section of our site. Metco Motorsports crankshaft pulley rings as included in this kit are also available separately.
