Chapter 3 describes transparent wood, how it is obtained, and the most recent applications in advanced fields. Chapter 4 focuses on collecting data about the performance of panels made of conventional and innovative recycled waste materials derived from agricultural and industrial processes, assembled using different techniques and glues and investigated at the Environmental Control Lab, University of Perugia. In Chapter 5, milling metal oxides with H4-dhta, room temperature synthetic methods, one-pot and water-based MOF synthesis are analyzed as alternatives to obtain MOF-74 structures.
