Noelle Features: •Made for knit fabrics. •The bodice features a boat neck with a stand-up, structured, fold-over cowl. •3 full circle hemline options: high-low peplum, dress length or layer the two lengths together. • Includes optional pettiskirt. • 2 gathered sleeve options: 3/4 or long sleeves. Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements): •Fits sizes 1/2 (about 9-12 months) to 14. •Chest sizes 19″-32″ or 46.2-81.2 cm •Waist sizes 19.5″-28″ or 49.5-71.1 cm •Hip sizes 19.5″-34″ of 49.5-86.3 cm Skill level: •Confident beginner Suggested Fabrics: •Bodice fabric: You can use any medium-weight knit with at least 30% stretch and good recovery. Stretch velvet, Liverpool, brushed polyester, cotton lycra, stretch velour, french terry, scuba, etc. NOTE: Light-weight knits are NOT recommended for the bodice or cowl. •Peplum/dress option: You can use any light to medium weight knit. If you are using the dress length as a lining for the pettiskirt, a lightweight knit is recommended. Polyester knit and ITY are my favorites for the lining. NOTE: Directional fabric is NOT recommended. Pettiskirt option: You will need a lightweight, non-fray fabric. I highly suggest using nylon chiffon or tricot knit chiffon for the best result. Tulle, netting, mesh or stretch lace may be used as well. Notions: •Fusible knit interfacing (such as Pellon Easy-Knit Style #EK-130) is highly recommended. •Optional hem tape and 1/4” or 3/8” clear elastic. •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge, and marking tool.
