Introduction The Classic 844 mechanical pencil is made of aluminum and borrows the design of the popular 849 ballpoint pen. The Pencils feature a range of colors with a hexagonal body made from aluminum, making it a lightweight instrument that is resistant and sturdy. Each colour is applied by electrostatic powder coating. They come with a rubber and chamber that contains spare 0.7mm leads that are accessible by removing the push-button mechanism. It features the classic Caran d’Ache pocket clip; ‘Caran d’Ache’ engraved around the polished metal retractable push-button which propels the lead.
