Como algunos sabéis, desde hace cierto tiempo libero mi particular batalla con el sistema de la Sanidad Pública. Digo batalla, porque en verdad no se puede calificar de otra manera.
a modo de aclaración, diré que soy partidaria absoluta de la sanidad pública, que creo que es conveniente que pague mi parte para que esto funcione y estoy lejos de criticar la idea en sí. Sí que critico el proceder de la burocracia, infinito y absurdo.
decirles sólo que se cumplen casi tres semanas desde que empecé a ir al médico para conseguir el tratamiento de la fenilcetonuria. Supongo que el problema en mi caso es ligeramente distinto que en el caso de vosotros, que habéis crecido dentro del sistema público español. Yo tuve que injertarme por así decirlo, empezar desde cero. VAYA PROBLEMAS!!!
Lo primero es conseguir la cita con el especialista.
Mi médico de cabecera no tiene idea a quién mandarme, así que me manda al endocrinólogo. No había caído, aunque es obvio, que hay que ir a pediatría. Me acordé por la tarde y la médico me dijo que cancelara la cita y que me da otra para el pediatra.
Lo siguiente es que el sistema sanitario en Madrid no me contempla. Es IMPOSIBLE conseguir cita al pediatra si se es mayor de 18 años. lo cual me parece bastante razonable, siempre y cuando admita excepciones. Como la nuestra. Pues bien, el sistema SCAE o como se llame, no lo admite. Es imposible que me den cita con el médico. La reacción de las personas que me atienden: aj, entocnes ve sola e intenta meterte tú sola en el hospital en que quieras que te traten. Luego nos cuentas como te ha ido, que nos resulta instructivo. - Quiero que comprendáis bien lo que significa esto. esto significa que:
1. no saben cómo procesar mi solicitud.
2. No sienten vergüenza ninguna al no saber hacerlo, lo cual es su trabajo, y me piden que lo hiciera yo solita que así APRENDEN a hacerlo.
3. Me pregunto: ¿y si no supiera a qué hospital ir ni con qué médico? ¿Cuánto tiempo perdería entre consultas infinitas con los médicos de especialidades varias?
Punto tres: Voy desesperada a Ramón y Cajal, el hiospital donde sé que tratan la fenilcetonuria. En atención al paciente del dicho hospital me comentan que no puedo asistir a la cita, porque para esto debería haber ido primero al médico de cabecera para que me mandase a un hospital de distrito, este hospital debería tramitar mi petición de traslado a Ramón y Cajal que igual lo aceptaría. Un mes, me dicen. Pero pasa una cosa curiosa. La primera persona que me lo explica es amable y bondadosa, me apunta todos los pasos para que mi médico - que al parecer desconoce este procedimiento - lo siguiera. Pero otra persona que me atiende es arrogante y me trata como si hubiese venido a aprovecharme. Y eso me cabrea, me cabrea muchísimo, me cabrea tanto que subo todas las escaleras de este gigantesco hospital llorando de rabia buscando a la médico, porque decido meterme a toda costa en su despacho para que me vea, para que alguien sepa que existo, que necesito tratamiento y medicación.
Paso cuatro. Sin entrar demasiado en los detalles, os diré que consigo plantarme en el despacho de doctora Martínez Pardo. En este momento quiero dar mi más sincero agradecimiento a Juanillo, Juan López que con su madre me encontró accidentalmente y me ayudó en momento de histeria absoluta.
¿Qué hace doctora Martínez Pardo? La doctora me da la cita. Así, sin entrar en detalles, sin colas, suplicios y falta de comprensión. Una semana después ya tengo un chequeo completo, el informe hecho, todo ordenado y me siento dentro del equipo clínico. Pero también pasa otra cosa: la doctora me receta mi medicación, que se convierte en la siguiente fuente de desesperación.
(sobre mi encuentro con doctora Martínez Pardo escribiré en una entrada aparte, me siento muy bien teniéndola de doctora y me cae estupendamente).
Paso cinco. Vuelvo al ambulatorio al lado de casa. Parecen muy contentos de verme otra vez. Me preguntan cómo me ha ido, y les explico a grandes rasgos, que me he saltado algunos pasos del procedimientos. ¡Están contentos!, ¡Les parece estupendo que tenga la astucia de saber meterme en el hueco del sistema! Estoy acostumbrada a esto, al fin y al cabo toda mi vida hemos saltado los obstáculos para conseguir la cita y la medicación a tiempo, pero es la primera vez que lo hago sin mi madre y flipo en colores. Pero bueno, queda la receta. La receta la tiene que sellar el inspector sanitario del distrito. Tengo la receta, que me parece el mayor tesoro, se la dejo a los que me atienden. Pregunto: qué debo adjuntar. Les doy mi modesto pliegue de documentos que tengo en este momento. Los del centro los miran fijamente y tras una deliberación escogen uno, lo fotocopian y lo adjuntan con la receta. Vuelva usted el viernes!
vuelvo el viernes. La persona que me atiende está muy sorprendida de que se me haya denegado la receta. razón: El informe no es válido. No tiene fecha donde debería haberla... La persona que me atiende parece confusa. No sabe qué debo hacer. Si vuelvo a mandar la receta, ésta caduca, el inspector me la puede volver a denegar aunque le entregue otro bello informe - ya con fecha - tendré que volver a pedirla, esta vez con mi médico de cabecera, tardaré dos semanas más, porque ya sabe, es puente... Al final se decanta por mandar la receta aunque probablemente me la denieguen... Y espere dos ansiosas semanas más...
Os dejo planteada la siguiente cuestión: ¿y qué pasaría si estuviese en situación de urgencia? Si se me estuviese acabando la medicación? Estaría enferma en casa (la falta de fórmula me pone mala y débil...), sin trabajar, ¿perdería mi trabajo?, esperando a que alguien mueva su CULO y se apiade de mí.
Estoy con muchísimo estrés y ansiedad. Veo necesario conseguir la medicación antes de navidad porque también tengo problemas para ver mis médicos (casi que ex médicos) en Polonia, porque por trabajar puedo ir muy pocos días... Si no lo consigo antes de la navidad, pasaré las navidades ansiosa, esperándo qué coño - y discúlpenme esta palabra - va a pasar con mi legítima petición de medicamento que me es indispensable... Y además a mediados de enero se me acabarán las reservas que tengo. A ritmo que tengo que comerlo, no me da pa más, fin de cuento.
Lo que me duele aún más es que para consegiur el tratamiento tenía que pasar por tantas cosas ya. Sabéis que no me atrevía a pedir el tratamiento en España antes, por no cotizar en el país, porque mis padres tampoco lo hacían, etc etc. Y ahora, cuando por fin el sistema me considera algo más ciudadana, algo más "válida" en este asqueroso mercado de trabajo, aún así me ponen miles de trabas y sospechan del informe, de todo. Ni hace falta decir que lo que estoy leyendo en la prensa sobre los recortes y el copago me saca del quicio y me estreso muchísmo (A ver con qué resultados para mis niveles... Esta es otra). Y lo único que me consuela es el tono amenazador de Martínez Pardo, cuando le confesaba mis dudas:
